We've gone from strength to strength since our launch in early 2020, building on our funding from Innovate UK to secure backing from leading UK investors, and being selected for the Barclays Techstars accelerator.

We now work with 35 equipment vendors and our technology is supporting SMEs across the UK with their full equipment lifecycle. equipal has a number of opportunities to join the core team as we build our technology and support a growing number of businesses.

  • VP of Engineering

    equipal is composed of an advanced API and an array of integrated technologies so small businesses can conveniently source, finance and manage equipment. We require an experienced VP of Engineering to optimise our technology mix, ensure robust performance and handle complex data requirements. The individual will work closely with our incoming Head of Product to execute on vision. We offer a combination of attractive salary + equity (EMI scheme).

  • Head of Product

    We are excited to hire a Head of Product who brings at least three years of experience as a Product Manager in financial services, B2B tech or fintech. We would like to speak with individuals who have a ‘hands on’, ‘customer-first’, engaging mindset that allows them to fully immerse themselves in our user base. Practical experience in implementing good UX, focused user analytics and commercial decision making are key as is an understanding of B2B fintech.

  • Front-End Developer

    We require an agile and skilled front-end developer to ensure our users gain maximum convenience and utility marketplace and web app. We seek individuals who have at least one year experience with Vue JS /React or other progressive javascript frameworks in a commercial setting. Experience with unit testing and documentation are also important.
